As the most prestigious postdoctoral award in Canada, the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships Program provides the opportunity to bring top talent to join the research community at UBC. Fellowships are awarded to the very best postdoctoral researchers, both nationally and internationally, who will positively contribute to Canada’s economic, social and research-based growth.
Information about UBC’s internal selection process for the prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship is now available. The information can be found on the PDFO website with full details available on the SPARC website. Please note that both the internal deadline and process has changed for this year.

Selected Applicants will be contacted by Wednesday October 3, 2012 and will be provided with feedback from the relevant internal selection committee, in conjunction with strategic support from the SPARC Office to develop and finalize the four required institutional documents in order to submit a powerful and compelling full application.
